As of the present day there are very few women who have had any influencial input into politics in America. This is quite suprising due to the political power the US has over the world and also compared to the UK where there has been a female prime minister.
There is currently an organisation called ‘The White House Project’in the US which is aiming to increase the leadership of women throughout the different sectors of us politics.
