Golden Eye Drops 0.1% Golden Eye 0.1% w/v Eye Drops Solution contains Chloramphenicol, which is known as a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which means it is effective against infections caused by a wide variety of bacteria. Chloramphenicol is administered into the eye to treat the eye infection called bacterial conjunctivitis, which can be caused by various types of bacteria. By putting the medicine directly into the eye, it allows the chloramphenicol to act directly on the bacteria that are causing the infection. Golden Eye Drops can be used for the treatment of minor eye and eyelid infections such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis. Ingredients Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrochloric Acid, Propamidine Isethionate 0.1% w/v, Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/v. Dosage Adults and children:1-2 drops into the affected eye, up to four times daily. If there is no improvement after two days seek medical advice.
